October is here and it is packed with important dates to keep in mind.
Baby Loss Awareness Week 2022 (9-15 Oct) is now in its 20th year and it offers the opportunity for anyone touched by pregnancy and baby loss a safe and supportive space to share their experiences and feel that they are not alone. If you need help you can find it here.
October is also the month dedicated to stopping smoking and reducing alcohol intake.
Next Monday (10th) is an opportunity for us to focus on two different and important awareness moments :
-World Mental Health Day 2022 has the theme: "Make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority". You can find help and support here .
-National Work Life Week (10-14 October). This annual campaign is to get both employers and employees talking about well-being at work and work-life balance. It’s an opportunity for employers to show their employees, and potential candidates, how their organisation is striving for a family-friendly and flexible working culture.
You can find more information here .
We always try to pack our newsletters full of events, courses and advice that could be useful and helpful to the Communities, like our Meet and Eat Cooking Class (More information below).
You can also find workshops and tips on how to deal with the cost of living.
Stay safe and have a lovely weekend!
