This weekend many people will be celebrating bonfire night! Remember to only buy fireworks which carry the CE or UKCA marks, keep them in a closed box, and read and follow the instructions on each firework carefully. You can find more firework safety guidance here.
November is a month of awareness for many key health campaigns, like Movember. You can find ideas on how to support this campaign Here.
It is also Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, please visit the Mental Health Foundation for ways you can get involved and find support.
It’s Talk Money Week (7-11 November), and this year it’s more important than ever to build money conversations with trusted people into our everyday lives to help build financial wellbeing confidence and resilience to face whatever the future may hold.
Today, our Warmer Hubs project starts. Considering the current Cost-Of-Living crisis, it is our hope that these hubs will become a place of respite for those struggling financially this Autumn and Winter. At these sessions, you will have the chance to socialise, enjoy free hot meals provided by Sangha Community Café, participate in enjoyable crafting activities and much more. In addition to this, you can access guidance, information and signposting to helpful resources from our knowledgeable volunteers who will act as 'energy agents'. Come and find us every Friday afternoon from the 4th of November at Organ Hall, Borehamwood, WD6 4TB. See below more information.
A small request: If you have any old unused tech devices you'd be happy to donate to our Digital Inclusion Project, please give us a call on 01727 649970 so we can discuss how to get them to us. See more information below.
Here you can find our calendar listing all of our upcoming workshops and events with further links to tips on how to deal with the rising cost of living.
Stay safe and have a lovely weekend!
