Fantastic Friday Update

A new week sees us spotlighting even more opportunities for community awareness.

Monday 13th is "International Epilepsy Day", a day  which aims to raise awareness of the disease and challenges myths and stigmas surrounding it. You can find more about it here

"Random Acts of Kindness day" is celebrated on Thursday 17th February. Click here for ideas on how to celebrate it!

"Care Day 2023" will also be celebrated on the 17th

Saturday. This is the world’s biggest celebration of children and young people who have experience of the care system. You can find out more about their reality here.

#RaceEqualityWeek23 is still in progress, running untill Sunday 12th February. This year’s theme is #ItsEveryonesBusiness. Join us and thousands of other organisations championing diversity and inclusion for these final few days! You can find out more here .

National HIV Testing Week 2023 is on until 12th February as well. Find out more about this campaign here and order your postal test kit now.

Please note that due to flooding our Community Hub, at 5 Leeming Road, Borehamwood is currently closed for repairs. We’re working hard to ensure alternative provision is available for those who need to meet with us as soon as possible but in the meantime please do give us a call at 01727 649930.

Stay safe, warm and have a lovely weekend!
