As part of a nationwide project called Multiply, we are delivering a number of courses that are free for adults over 19 years. These courses are aimed to improve numeracy skills that we need in our everyday lives.
"Shopping on a Budget" sessions will help you shop smarter by looking at your current shopping habits and identifying areas where savings can be made. Our "Make Do and Mend" course will impart participants simple hand sewing skills such as button sewing, hemming and altering lengths enabling participants to repair much-loved clothes and save money. A New You session will improve your social, money management and communication skills.
Make Do and Cook course will help you make the most of your store cupboard and highlight where savings can be made. Check out the many dates on offer!
This coming week our awareness sessions focus on the issues surrounding Deaf Awareness, Self-Care, Dementia and Gambling. These online sessions will give you a better understanding of these conditions and support one can provide.
As always we look forward to your Email sharing suggestions of training you would like to see in the future, and feedback on sessions you have attended.
Continue to stay informed and warm.
Kind regards,
Monita Marwaha
