Across the UK there is a wide range of individuals across the Disability community support or getting involved in Sport and Physical Activity whether that be at a local class, to individual challenges through to National and international competitions.
During Covid, a number of these opportunities to engage and support were suspended face to face but what was happening was we did start to hear people’s stories about what they feel they have achieved and how their stories inspire others to have fun and be active.

We know that good communication is the key to successful inclusive dance activities and Para Dance UK is thrilled to have 3 members of the dance team who have worked hard to complete every available level of Makaton training through levels 1 to 4!

Voluntary Sector Briefing 2nd August 2021
As we reflect on the enjoyable in-person events we held throughout ‘Kind-July’, where we met so many of our brilliant volunteers, we remain conscious of the hardship the voluntary sector has faced over the last year. It has been a tough year for many, and all of us have experienced changes in our everyday lives.

Thank You Volunteers at Batchwood Hall Vaccination Centre
As Batchwood Vaccination Centre prepares to close its doors we would like to thank our incredible volunteers, who have provided 8,975 hours of crucial support to the clinical staff there. The centre has gained a reputation for its warm, friendly and efficient team of volunteers, who have helped in a variety of roles, from directing and registering patients, to handing out PPE, to distributing information to those receiving the vaccine.
