Training Tuesday

Happy New year!

We are starting the new year with additions to our training calendar.
If you love your garments but are unable to wear them as they need mending, join our "Make Do and Mend" course. This in person session will give participants simple hands-on skills on repairing and alteration. No sewing skills needed! Just bring your garments that need mending.

As the shopping frenzy continues well into the new year, join us on any of our "Shopping on a Budget" sessions. This session will help you shop smarter by looking at your current shopping habits and identifying areas where savings can be made. As part of a nationwide project called Multiply this course is free for adults over 19 years and  will also help build confidence around adult numeracy skills.

The cost-of-living crisis continues and many of us are facing rising energy requirements and cost. Our "Know your Energy" session aims to explain what is happening in the energy market and how we are getting affected. Join the session to get tips and what savings can be made to energy costs.

A "Self Care" webinar has been added this year. An engaging hour long lunchtime session that will present ideas for looking after yourself.

As always we look forward to your email sharing suggestions of training you would like to see in the future, and feedback on sessions you have attended.

Continue to stay informed and warm
