Training Tuesday

December is a month of celebrations and cheer! It is also the time to reflect as another year comes to an end and a new year begins.
As the shopping frenzy continues well into the new year, join us on our Shopping on a Budget session. This session will help you shop smarter by looking at your current shopping habits and identifying areas where savings can be made. As part of a nationwide project called Multiply, this course is free for adults over 19 years and will also help build confidence around adult numeracy skills.

This week we have added a new course. "Make Do and Mend" will give participants hands-on skills in repairing their much-loved garments. No sewing skills are needed! Just bring your garments that need repairing, wear them again, save some money and reduce long-term negative impacts on the environment.

Our "Deaf Awareness" and "British Sign language" courses have been a hit this year. We have many dates to choose from in the New Year and we hope to see you at one of these sessions.

As always we look forward to your email sharing suggestions of training you would like to see in the future, and feedback on sessions you have attended.

Continue to stay informed and warm

Kind regards,
Monita Marwaha
