Half term is round the corner! Looking for activities that you can do with your kids and incorporate some learning too? Then do have a look at our Creative Fun with Numbers sessions! These sessions are fun, engaging and help you explore numbers through creative games and activities.

It’s National Numeracy Day tomorrow. People are encouraged to try and build confidence in their numeracy skills, even if maths is not something they are comfortable with. Celebrate the day by signing up onto one of our many Multiply courses.

Inclusive Dance Training

This course is for anyone wanting to run or be involved with Inclusive Dance sessions. It is suitable for a wide range of people who are involved with dance and disabled people in many ways. This could include dance teachers who wish to open their services to all abilities, those involved with sports and social groups, and people with a focus on disability and the care environment.

The IDT will equip you with the tools you need to start your journey into Inclusive Dance or develop your existing skills

It is imperative that you are able to attend all the dates specified so as not to miss essential information, however should unforeseen circumstances arise then we will be able to record the live session in order for you to catch up. Please note sessions are not normally recorded so you will need to notify us with appropriate warning if you are unable to attend.

The Total fee for the course is £650.00 which will need to be paid in full prior to the course start date. Bursaries are available for Hertfordshire residents (deposit of £50 pounds refundable on completion).

Once we have received your payment in full we will then register you to have access to our eLearning platform and zoom links for the live sessions.

Report Writing Training

This training session will be delivered by the Royal Literary Foundation. The course will cover everything you need to know about creating effective and informative reports, covering things like structure and techniques.

Case Study Training with the Royal Literacy Foundation

This training course, delivered by the Royal Literary Foundation, will help teach you everything you need to know about effective case study writing, helping your organisation to develop all the skills you need to write great case studies which illustrate the work you do.

Members can join this course for £25, and non members can join this course for £40.

Deaf Awareness and Basic BSL

Attend this deaf awareness online workshops and learn about effective ways to communicate with deaf people, as well as some basic sign language.

Participant coming to this session will gain the confidence and basic skills to communicate with those who are living with deafness and hearing loss. It will enable them to understand deafness, signs, body positions and communicating.

There will be time for a Q&A time at the end of this session.

Dementia friends Information Session

At present there are around 900,000 people in the UK that have Dementia. It is anticipated this will soon reach 1.6 million in 2040. This session will give you the opportunity to learn more about what it is like to live with dementia and turn that understanding into action.

Boundaries Webinar

Having clear boundaries is essential to a healthy, balanced lifestyle. This one hour long webinar explores how to maintain good personal and professional  boundaries to assist us to manage our day-to-day commitments. Hertfordshire Mind Network Workshops

- Managing Low Mood & Depression

This Online course will help you understand what causes low mood and depression. It will look at and support you in discovering strategies to overcome low mood and depression.
