Training Tuesday

It is with great sadness that we hear of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. We remember her remarkable and outstanding service to our nation and commonwealth as our sovereign, undertaken with such grace, dedication and humility. United now with her beloved husband, may she rest in peace.

We extend our sincere condolences and thoughts to King Charles III and the Royal Family.

A book of condolence has been placed in the Civic Centres across Hertfordshire, so that individuals can write their personal tributes to the Monarch and reflect on her lifetime of service to the country. There is also an online book of condolence on the Royal's Family website and a book of remembrance on the Hertfordshire Lord-Lieutenant's website.

This week our newsletter is filled with opportunities of training and awareness sessions that are free and open to all. Our September training sessions focus on personal development and help for those wishing to start their volunteering journey. Diabetes awareness sessions are online and a great way to spend an hour understanding the signs and symptoms and the risk involved.

September is World Alzheimer’s Month and 21st September is World Alzheimer’s Day. Our Dementia awareness session is aimed at demystifying Dementia and learn more about what it is like to live with dementia.

We always look forward to your emails sharing suggestions of training you would like to see in the future, and feedback on sessions you have attended.

Continue to stay informed and have a good week!

Kind regards,
Monita Marwaha
