Training Tuesday

As the weather changes and days get shorter, we are looking to face rising energy requirements and cost. Our Know your Energy session aims to explain what is happening in the energy market and how we are getting affected. Join the session to get tips and what savings can be made to energy costs.

The pandemic has revealed a direct correlation between isolation and gambling. Social isolation, lack of support and boredom has led to higher levels of gambling, which has caused many people financial hardship, loneliness, and guilt. Sign up to GamCare‘s CPD accredited training, that aims to help make problem gambling more understandable, with a focus on gambling amongst women.

We aim to create 1000 Dementia Friends! We are getting there slowly but steadily. Help us reach our target towards being a dementia friendly community! Our Dementia Friends Information sessions delivered by Alzheimer’s Society are short informative one-hour sessions that will give you the opportunity to learn more about what it is like to live with Dementia and provide support and understanding.

We always look forward to your emails sharing suggestions of training you would like to see in the future, and feedback on sessions you have attended.

Continue to stay informed and have a good week!

Kind regards,
